Black Widow Spiders and Spraying
- What about Black Widows. Can they be treated by spraying?
- No Black and Brown widow spiders as well as brown recluse spiders are hard to kill with insecticides, they have exteriors. The best way to kill these spiders is to treat for the food source. If you have crickets coming to your building at night because of night lighting – try reducing your lights to come on 1 hour after sunset and turn off 1 hour before sunrise – but you need to find out what spiders are attracted to and kill them.
