Pests and Regions for Habitat
- Are there pests that are more prevalent in certain parts of the country and pests that there are less of in those areas? And is there a (internet) place to get that information?
- Yes for example in the southern part of the US are Red Imported Fire Ants they are not north of the “Mason-Dixon” line
- The national IPM center is broken into regions – find your and then go to their home page. http://www.ipmcenters.org/
- You can also check with your local Land Grant University system or county Extension office for specific pests in an area.
